Wallpapers

Non-woven papers are a mix of textile fibers and paper, which makes them very resistant, almost tear-proof. Thanks to high paperweights, they do not shrink when drying. They are almost watreproof and can be cleaned with mild detergents and a wet sponge.

Our products are printed on non-woven paper, a mix of textile fibres and paper, which is highly tear-resistant. All our wallpapers are FSC®-certified.

We use eco-certified inks with outstanding colour rendering. Bien Fait also offers eco-friendly coated fabrics that improve durability, installation and maintenance, especially for public areas and the most sensitive rooms in the house.

Our wallpapers are printed with the greatest care in France, near Paris and in Normandy, within human-sized facilities. Savoir-faire and quality control is at the heart of their mission.

We use latex and UV inks, certified A+ for indoor air, which give the best colour rendering on large format. Produced without any ozone emission, they do not contain any harmful volatile components and therefore do not require ventilation. They have a good UV resistance and are fire-resistant.

Our non-woven papers can be washed with a sponge and mild detergents such as household soap. Please do not use solvent-based detergents or abrasive scourer, as they will detach the inks from the substrate.

Our wallpapers can be installed in bathrooms and kitchens, provided they are not in direct contact with water (shower cubicle, bathtub surround, credenza, etc.) and your room is well ventilated. No, for paste and ink resistance to direct UV exposure. It is necessary to install materials developed for the outdoor, for direct exposure to the sun and weather changes.

Each model is photographed to highlight the detail and quality of our products. However, colours may vary from one screen to another. For an accurate colour match, we invite you to order a sample from the e-shop or consult our book at one of our retailers.

Hanging

You can ask to your DIY store non-woven wallpaper paste, there are many brands !

There are coloured products that help to distribute the paste evenly on your wall (the colour disappears when drying).

You will need:
- glue for non-woven paper,
- a spirit level or a plumb line to hang straight!
- a clean brush or cloth
- a roller and/or a glue brush
- a good cutter, and possibly a joint roller for perfect joints and borders.

Gone are the nightmares of traditional paper, with the gluing of strips and walls, the wallpapering table and the waiting!

Installation should be carried out on a smooth, uniformly colored wall, preferably white, coated with a primer.

For a do-it-yourselfer, yes, no problem. For beginners, it will be easier with another person !

After drying. Do not cut the strips before installation. Walls and ceilings are rarely perfectly vertical/horizontal and rectilinear, so it would be a shame to find at the end of installation that a few centimetres are missing at the top or bottom of a strip...

The drying time is indicated on the paste you have chosen by its manufacturer. It also depends on the quantity applied and the temperature and humidity in your room.

It usually takes about 3 hours for a complete drying.

They don't need to be glued before installation, and are stiffer than traditional wallpaper, making them much easier to position and requiring no preparation time! What's more, they are delivered in pre-cut strips. They are to be installed on a smooth, evenly-colored wall, coated with a white primer.

How does it work?

Choose Alma when you pay. You pay the first instalment when you order, the following instalments will be debited from your card 1 month and 2 months later. 

Eligibility requirements :

This solution is available for all payments from €100 to €3000 to cards domiciled in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Ireland and Austria.

Prepaid, virtual and systematic authorization cards are not accepted.

Is the payment secure?

Alma systematically carries out a 3D Secure verification to confirm that you are the owner of the card used. Your bank then sends you a confirmation SMS or a push notification in your banking application, to confirm that you are indeed the one who initiated this transaction and that it is not fraudulent.

You will be asked for the security code when you place your order. This code is located on the back of your credit card and consists of 3 digits; or on the front and above your card number for American Express, it consists of 4 digits.

Delivery

Shipping costs vary according to the weight and number of packages ordered:
- France from €35 for direct delivery, €10 in a Mondial Relay point.
- Europe from €40
- Rest of the World from €50
Our items are generally shipped by DHL, Fedex, UPS, or dropped off at a Relais Colis point.

Our orders are usually processed within 10 working days for preparation and 2 to 3 days for transport. If you order important quantities, the lead-time might be longer.

Destinations in Oceania and Latin America generally have a transport delay of around 1 week in addition to the initial processing.

An email will be sent to you once your order is ready for shipment. You will find the tracking number of your order in your customer area and be able to follow-up its delivery on the carrier's website.

We ship worldwide, items ordered on our site can be delivered everywhere.

A signature is required by our Carrier upon receipt of the package, unless you opt for a deposit in a parcel delivery outlet.

Pick-up at Paris showroom

You can pick up your order in the showroom Bien Fait located at 23, rue Saint Paul 75004 Paris by appointment.

Please have your order number and identification with you.

You may designate a third party to retrieve it. Please contact our customer service and notify them of the name and surname of the person. An ID will be requested as well as the order number.

Return, exchange, refund

As the consignee, you must expressly notify the carrier of any reservations within the specified time limit, and send a copy of your transport claim to Bien Fait at [email protected].

This can only apply to ready-to-use packs marketed on the site, and not to custom-made projects, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

As a customer, you have a legal right of withdrawal of fourteen days from the date of delivery of your order to make your request to our customer service: [email protected].

The products are to be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition, perfectly packed, without any trace or stain on the printed surface or on the back, and in particular no trace of glue. The strips of paper must not have been cut or laid.

The withdrawal form must be attached to the package, previously completed and printed. This form will be provided to you by our Customer Service on request. The costs of shipping the products back are at your expense.

All returns or exchanges must be made within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with our general terms and conditions of sale(link).

Bien Fait undertakes to refund the Customer for the price including taxes, excluding return costs, within a maximum of 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the products by Bien Fait, and from the confirmation of the perfect condition of the goods by Bien Fait. The amount of the refund will be credited directly to the Customer's bank account used for the order or by any other appropriate means of payment, at the discretion of Bien Fait.

We pay great attention to the quality of our products. Before packing, our print shop checks each printed strip to make sure it fits in with its neighbors, so you can be sure of a perfect result.

Our whole collection is shown on our website and is our full catalogue. Different colours are visible in thumbnails and in the drop-down menus of each model.

Go to the e-shop section on the product sheet of the model that kept your attention and request a quote by indicating the dimensions of your wall. For many models, you can directly order your made-to-measure wallpaper on the e-shop.
