Delicate and precious, the Millefleurs pattern was hand painted with watercolors and gouache by Sarain collaboration with Cécile Figuette, creator of Bien Fait.

The magical and mysterious world of medieval tapestries has been one of Cecile's main sources of inspiration.

Millefleurs is reminiscent of the so-called millefleurs decorations of the 15th and 16th century tapestries that adorned castles in Europe. Sprinkled with animals and plant ornaments in suspension, this wallpaper echoes the famous hanging The Lady with a unicorn, preservedi n the Cluny Museum.

"I thought that with her talent for botanical subjects and the delicacy of her painted handwriting, she would be perfect for putting this idea into images." - Cécile Figuette
