DIP-BAS-EN-ROLL

Basil frieze

BESPOKE PROJECT

Timeless Art Deco

The reinterpretation of the Brand’s Basile pattern designed in 1963 by Christiane Gautrot, one of diptyque’s 3 creators.
First printed on furniture fabrics sold at the flagship boutique at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain, the Basile pattern is also part of the permanent collection at the Paris Museum of Decorative Arts. Echoing the unique style of the world-famous ceiling moldings and cornices of Parisian Haussmann-style brownstones, Basile was born in Art Déco.

Designed to match other diptyque wall decors, the frieze has a unique format with a height of one metre.

Sold in rolls of 1m width, 5.6m length.
