Artists’ Garden Extraordinaire.

The reproduction of a work of art in watercolor and felt pen by Desmond Knox-Leet, one of diptyque’s three creators.
Its name, Les Lilas, was the same as the name of the home of Desmond Knox-Leet and Yves Coueslant in Normandy, not far from Trouville. Its typically English garden, descending dramatically towards the cliffs, was entirely designed by La Maison’s two founders. This illustration, part of diptyque’s treasured archives, can now be admired on the walls of any interior for a burst of nature at its most grandiose: a unique take on an original work of art, and a Jardin Extraordinaire of infinite, intense color.
