BESPOKE PROJECT

Forever Art Nouveau !

Here is the reinterpretation of diptyque’s Sarayi pattern, designed in 1962-1963 by Desmond Knox-Leet, one of the Brand’s three founders. Inspired by Japanese prints, this pattern was first printed on furniture fabric sold at diptyque’s flagship boutique at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain. Today, Sarayi is part of the permanent collection of the Paris Museum of Decorative Arts.
Its contemporary style is rooted in L’Art Nouveau. As a pattern, the floral arrangement takes on the aspect of a veritable modern ikebana. As wallpaper, the re-interpreted archive is presented in a color scheme never used before.Designed to blend splendidly with other patterns from diptyque’s collection of wall decors.

Sold in rolls of 60cm width, 10m length. Drop match
