Jenne Pineau

After studying design and fashion at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, followed by a first experience in haute couture, the artist developed his activity as a painter.

Her supports are multiple, it is besides in the Market Saint-Pierre or in secondhand trade that she unearths printed canvases on which she paints.

Guided by color, her first floral paintings date back to her early years and her work today is imbued with the symbolism and esotericism of the Nabis painters.

The artist has created for Bien Fait Sol and Luna, two landscapes on printed fabrics found in flea markets, whose floral patterns blend with those of his decor.

With her talent as a colorist, she composes her rich palette of shades by hand using mineral pigments.

The red monochrome of the Sol model depicts a celestial landscape, dotted with a multitude of flowers whose warm hues resonate with the sun. Its nocturnal echo, the Luna model, evokes wisdom and serenity through its soft, green hues.

For each model, Cécile Figuette has voluntarily preserved the texture of the canvas as well as the material of the paint in order to preserve the emotion of the original works and to create a trompe-l'oeil effect.
