Camille Laugié

Camille Laugié draws the way one engraves: with precision, density, and an attention to detail that draws you in close. A textile designer for the past ten years for houses such as Pierre Frey, Christian Lacroix, Manuel Canovas and Fragonard, she also maintains a steady engraving practice, a discipline rooted in a year spent at the Beaux-Arts in Beirut. It's this dual culture, between furnishing pattern and artisanal print, that runs through the three new designs she has created for Bien Fait: Parade, Fabuleux and Royaume.
