Two creative worlds come together in a new wallpaper collection inspired by folk art, craftsmanship and the sheer joy of decoration.

The world of Blumenhaus
Blumenhaus is an independent publication — a mook, a luxurious hybrid of an art book and a magazine founded and designed with care by Camille Gressier & Isabelle Laydier Kristensen.
At the crossroads of botany, art, history and fashion, it was born between Paris and Brittany from a shared desire, to create freely, without limits or briefs, and to build a world of their own.
Botany emerged as a natural choice. Both grew up surrounded by nature and share a fascination with the forms of the living world, with flowers, gardens and the stories they inspire. Through each issue, Blumenhaus invites artists, designers and writers from around the world to explore this universe with curiosity and poetry.
A shared joy of decoration
For their first wallpaper collection with Bien Fait, Camille and Isabelle draw inspiration from folk art. Naive and decorative arts, traditional craftsmanship, floral motifs and refined colour palettes, the collection celebrates the pure joy of decoration.

Driven by a shared love of handcrafted charm, vibrant colours and timeless interiors, Blumenhaus and Bien Fait bring their worlds together in a bold and playful series. Traditional folk art patterns meet an inviting, bohemian spirit, opening a window onto an enchanting indoor garden.
A creative conversation
The project unfolded as a true creative conversation between three voices.
Camille and Isabelle imagined the world of the collection, its motifs and colour harmonies. Camille then brought the designs to life in watercolour. From these original artworks, Bien Fait composed the final décors, working on rhythm, repeats, scale and colour combinations to create the finished wallpapers.
The result brings together the spontaneity and tactile quality of the original paintings with Bien Fait's approach to creating immersive décors, allowing every motif to find its place, its rhythm and its own relationship with the room.

This collaboration also marks a natural new chapter in the story of Blumenhaus.

And the timing could not have been more fitting, Blumenhaus had just dedicated an issue to interiors, the intimate garden and the home.
With this collection, the world of Blumenhaus takes on a new dimension. It unfolds across an entire room, wraps the walls and invites everyone to imagine their own Blumenhaus house.
